Port Wine is a fortified wine, produced in the Douro Demarcated Region, under peculiar conditions derived from natural and human factors. The elaboration process, based on tradition, includes stopping the fermentation of the must by the addition of grape spirit, the blending of wines and, subsequently, aging.
